Qualification: Bachelor of Social Science, University of Queensland (2007), Master of Development Practice, University of Queensland (2011), Advanced Master of Archaeological Science, Australian National University (2016, with the University Medal).
Stevie is a PhD Candidate working with the Anindilyakwa community on Groote Eylandt to tell the archaeological story of the island's songlines. Their research includes story mapping, oral history recording, rock art survey and targeted excavations.
